Cutting & Booking the Wallpaper
Measuring and Cutting
Section 3 : Wall Preparation
Open up the wallpaper and cut according to the measured height with extra buffer length at top and bottom. Take into consideration of how many strips of wallpapers can be cut out from 1 roll of wallpaper.
Check for pattern matching. Be sure to check the types of pattern matching for the wallpaper, whether it’s direct matching, half-drop match, or reverse-hang.
Decide on a starting point based on the width measurement as well. Make sure to not have a strip of wallpaper ending at the internal corner of a wall because most of the walls out there are not upright.
Prepare the glue into a pail. Keep in mind to stir the solution as you are mixing the Z5000 into the water. Stir with your hand for a minute, and repeat a few more times with an interval of 3 minutes.
Apply the glue onto the back of the wallpaper and fold the pasted sides together without creasing, and allow to sit for the adhesive to activate.
Prepare a small pail of glue for easily accessible adhesive for touch-up
