Every manufacturer has a different approach to labeling this information. These symbols give you instructions on how to care for your wallpaper, how to wash it, and the effect light has on it. As it is crucial that you follow a wallpaper’s instructions, we’ve created this handy cheat sheet to help you identify and understand what each symbol means.

Sponge

Excess fresh paste can be dabbed away using a damp sponge at the time of hanging. This does not imply that it is possible once the paper is dry.
